Kim Smith Banister Family
Hey, Bulldogs!

It has been so much fun reading about your lives and seeing your
pictures!  It looks like I will be attending the reunion after all.
Yeah!  As everyone has said, it is hard to believe that 30 years
have passed.
My motto in life is Better Late Than Never so here goes my
story.  Gary and I have been married for 28 years this June.  We
have lived in Texas for 26 years.  Gary has worked at Texas
Instruments and Raytheon for the past 23 years in finance.  I have
been teaching second grade for 20 years in Lewisville ISD.  We
have 15 year old twins that keep us very busy named Landon and
Marcy.  Our third child is our 9 year old miniature dachshund
named Lucy.  She is the Lucy Ricardo of the dog world!
I stayed home with Landon and Marcy for 2 years when they
were born.  Those were 2 of the best years of my life!  They will be
sophomores next year and I can't believe how fast time flies! } }
They have their driving permits and this experience can be trying,
especially when you have 2 kids learning to drive at the same time!
!  It has been a blast having twins and there is never a dull
moment!  I have enjoyed every age that they are and relish my
time with them.  They are awesome kids and we have truly been
blessed with them.
Marcy is our artsy child.  She is a dancer of 13 years and
performs with her studio's dance company.  They perform for
corporations, special events, and compete.  She loves art and is
quite talented.  She loves being with her friends and $hopping, and
$hopping, and $hopping.  She keeps us laughing with her sense of
humor and never ending entertainment on and off stage.
Landon is into sports.  Since he was 4 he has played football,
baseball, and wrestled.  He quit wrestling a few years back.  He
now focuses on football and baseball.  Although he is a native
TEXAN, he is a Sooner fan and has attended the OU Football
Camp for the last 4 summers.  He loves to read, play video games,
and hang with his friends.
School is very important to both kids and they are great students.
However, Landon is the one with straight A's for his school career
so far and is ranked 18th in his class of 750 for his fist year of high
school.  I tell him he gets that from me!  Ha!  I could never do that!
I am a proud Mom. : )  : )
I am very excited about seeing everyone especially since I
missed the last reunion!  A big THANKS goes to Timmy for the
web site!!!!  It's been a lot of fun to read about the different stages
of each person's life!

See you soon (tomorrow to be exact),
Kim
