Eddy & Leeann (Wimberly) Carder
Well, I have put this off long enough.  Most of you should remember
that I am a man of few words. but I will try to update you on the lives
of Eddy and Leeanne Carder.. Leeanne and I have enjoyed 28 wonderful
years of marriage and have lived in the Mustang, Ok. area for the past
26 years.  We have two grown boys, Cody and Chase, one beautiful
daughter in law, and one grandchild on the way.  Our oldest son, Cody,
was married 2 years ago and he and his wife, Keli, are expecting their
first child in December.  Cody graduated from UCO last Spring and
recently took a job with Dell computers as a sales rep.  Keli also
graduated from UCO and works with Farmers Insurance Group.  Our youngest
son, Chase, will graduate from UCO next Fall after completing his
student teaching in the Moore School District.  Joe, I also warned him
of the poverty level in the teaching profession, but he is determined to
follow in his dad's footsteps and become a teacher and coach and
eventually get into athletic administration.  However, I must say that the education field
has been very rewarding for Leeanne and I and we
wouldn't change a thing if we could do it all over again.  Chase is
still looking for the right girl in his life.  Maybe he should look up
some of the beautiful daughters I see on this web site.  Cody and Chase
are both great kids and have been a consistant joy in our lives.  We are
also very proud of our beautiful daughter in law and look forward to her
bringing a sweet granddaughter into our lives.  A little grandson would
be OK too!
Leeanne is still as beautiful as ever and looks like she is 25.
She didn't want me to say that but she will forgive me, I hope.  Wow, I
must be the luckiest man in the world to land such a great catch.  She
continues to teach after 26 years in the classroom and currently works
part time for a local home builder in the area.  Leeanne is an
outstanding teacher and earned her National Board Certification 5 years
ago. She roped me into buying 2 horses 8 years ago, so we now live on
5 acres with plenty of chores to keep us busy.  Life is Good!
I have also been in education for the past 26 years in the Mustang
School District.  I spent 17 years as a teacher/coach and have been an
assistant High School Principal for the past 9 years trying to keep up
with about 550 12th graders.  We recently purchased a lot at Lake Texoma and are
looking forward to building something on it this summer although it may be a tent.  I
still enjoy fishing and make frequent trips south
to enjoy the water.  Leeanne and I are looking forward to the day we can
spend more time at the lake.  We are excited about seeing everyone at
the reunion.

Love you all!  Eddy and Leeanne
